Aside from the fact that we are seeing a lot of established trees removed in the area, there is very little information pertaining to the reason for the removal of these trees. What type of trees are they? Are they native to the area and therefore providing both habitat for wildlife and shelter for humans & wildlife. Are they mature age trees? Are they diseased? ( It would seem strange for 6 trees to have a fungus?) Are any of dead or dying and at risk of falling on property or a safety risk?

I am not sure if this is all the information that the Willoughby council received on this application, but I think that it is critical that more information be required to make an informed decision.

No justification or other details are given.
This is an excessive number of tyrees in an area where the canopy is critical and adjacent to sensitive areas.

Another 6 trees to be removed? When does this stop? These trees provide shade, cooling effect and are home to native animals. These trees are also an essential corridor for animals going into the adjacent reserve. I really hope this application is rejected.
