As a local I encourage this! Great for the area. Drainage must be looked at as this area is prone to becoming very wet and events like this could see a lot of damage to sports fields.

Access to fields also needs to be improved with more bridges/paths over the drainage culverts. (Currently only 3)

Would love to see the revenue used to transform the sthn fields into all weather fields

Agree council needs to fix up the drainage, especially the culverts in the southern end. It’s still blocked and doesn’t flow down to puckeys estate. Since February this has been the case. A little bit of rain sees the roads, pedestrian and car entry/exit flood which is not good for regular sporting events or major events if they need to be cancelled.
