I support this application. I have found the venue to be well run and see no issues with this application being approved.
The business has been a positive addition to the area. I see no issues with the additional (minimal) hours to serve alcohol.
When visiting the venue I have been impressed by the staff.

I wish them well in this application.

  2. J Rennex commented

I wholeheartedly support this proposal. The owners of the Link & Pin Cafe have created a vibrant culture that supports local musicians and fellow Central Coast businesses alike. The sense of community they have created is truly inspirational. People travel long distances to take in the music at the Cafe on weekends and I’m sure the opportunity to responsibly and legally indulge in a beverage or two whilst in attendance would be very much appreciated. As we navigate a somewhat barren cultural existence in a post pandemic world, we need more venues just like the Link & Pin.

  3. Mark Ford commented

I fully support this application. In my opinion, The Link and Pin team are an outstanding, professional outfit. The value the venue brings to the local community from a musical, cultural and social aspect cannot be under estimated. It is my hope that the standard set by the operation is inspiring to others wishing to bring additional venues to the area for locals and visitors alike to enjoy.

The establishment is well run and responsible and appeals to a broad range of the community. The Link and Pin is well respected by musicians locally and from other places. It has become a sought after place to play and to watch music in an intimate and welcoming atmosphere. The central coast definitely needs more places like the Link and Pin where original music can be performed and supported.

We 100% support this application. The venue is well managed, family friendly and a much needed all inclusive place for locals to gather. They provide a platform for young artists to perform in front of a crowd. Since moving to Horsfield Bay, we've not only supported this venue, we've met some really nice locals along the way. We love spending a Sunday afternoon sitting out back listening to the live music. The Central Coast, especially Woy Woy and Umina need more places like The Link & Pin!

The Link & Pin has been a brilliant addition to the local community. Their contribution to the broader economy of the area shouldn’t be underestimated.
The curation of their live music is brilliant, local emerging artists and established acts (from near & far) performing side by side on an intimate stage makes every gig feel really special and creates a sense of community through shared experience. I fully support this excellent establishment.

Over the past 2 years The Link and Pin Cafe has become a staple for the Woy Woy community, providing a friendly space for all people to enjoy food, drinks and their locally famous live music. I'm in a band and i play there on the regular to enthusiastic crowds of amazing humans of all walks of life. More freedom to supply drinks would be an amazing way to support this incredible community they have built, and will hopefully continue to build. I support this application.

They give opportunities for all musicians and especially young up and coming artists to perform. I support this application fully.

Do it for those who want to escape the drone of races being called while surrounded wall to wall with tabs/sports/TV screens.
Do it for those who are tired of cover bands and want to hear original music and see and support local bands current and emerging.
Do it for those who want to go out but struggle with the seductive and deceptive siren songs of poker machines at every other place there is to drink socially.
    Do it for Woy Woy!

The area has been starved of an original music venue.

This establishment is safe, well run & is regularly bringing visitors from the northern beaches, inner west & Newcastle districts

    Hats off Link & Pin

  38. Donna C O'Donnell commented

We fully support the application to change the existing license of the Link and Pin. It is a one of it's kind on the Peninsula, frequented by all people's from far and wide. Employing at least 12 people plus the hundred's of live music act's that it has had over its soon to be 2 year's. It is a real credit to the bosses of this establishment for bringing together music, food, people and drink's as well as other entertainment options for the community to enjoy. Your Sincerely
    Donna 'O Donnell

I fully support the change to the licensing at The Link and Pin. This venue has put Woy Woy on the musical and foodie map! People from Central Coast Sydney & Newcastle come here to experience the cuisine and the music. It’s popular and makes Woy Woy a favourite destination for a lunch or night out. It is a well run venue and provides employment to a dozen locals.

    I fully support this application.

I've found the staff to be responsible in their service, reactive to any poor behaviour and respectful of their surrounding businesses.

I find the venue to be much more along the lines of the type of establishment that encourages creativity and community - more so than your typical pub.

Please assist us in its success.

  44. Samantha Ireland commented

As a local of 46 years I support this application without reservation. This is a fantastic small business which is run responsibly and with a strong community focus. They deserve our support.

  45. Duncan Snape commented

The Link and Pin have resurrected a music scene for the locals and those from further afield, of which I have met with many, to enjoy live music in a relaxed, safe and enjoyable atmosphere, and for those bands to be given an opportunity to play and grow in front of a enthusiastic crowd. The pending application would allow for continued musical enjoyment at this controlled venue for those gaps when the standard food service has been withdrawn, further allowing the growth of Woy Woy as an entertainment and leisure centre.

  46. Richard Aspden commented

I have been nothing but impressed with how the Link and Pin is run. I go to many music events and gigs all over the central coast and I can honestly say that the atmosphere and friendliness of the staff and patrons at the Link and Pin are so much better than most other venues. There is a real sense of community in this venue and the fact that they prioritise original music over cover bands is just what the central coast is in need of. I support this application and hope that the Link and Pin continues to provide an ongoing viable alternative the pub and club scene for many years to come.
