4 storey high buildings are just pandering to developers and ruining the make up of the village. Heathmont is turning into just another bland repeatable inner city suburb. When there has been a maximum of 2 storey buildings for so long, I see no reason to increase that number. Another poor decision by the local council.

I strongly object to this building application. Heathmont has no buildings over 2 storeys in the Village precinct. The appeal of this area is no buildings higher than the trees. We need to maintain the green appeal of Heathmont by not allowing these high rise buildings that are being built in the suburbs closer to the city.
I agree that new retail needs to be built to replace the old but new housing should be kept to the areas surrounding.
Please review this application with the future plan of Heathmont in mind. As a resident of Heathmont i do not want buildings above 2 storeys in this location.
