1. We have lost privacy as a result of the recent conversion of the next door roof to a rooftop terrace, which overlooks our back deck and back balcony.
(Althought labeled “existing terrace” on the architectural drawings, it was a roof until a glass pool fence was put around it in mid-2020).
The terrace is subject to a Council enforcement notice: REQ2022-082554
We would like the size of the terrace reduced so it doesn’t extend beyond our balcony, or a privacy screen to extend the full length of the terrace.
2. The large angophora (Sydney river gum) behind 44 Thornley St is one of the few remaining original trees along the river. We are very concerned that any earth-moving to construct the pool complex in the lower back yard could impact on the tree or its roots.
