This development application is for alterations and additions to an existing building. The property is in a highly sensitive area, adjacent to Blue Gum Creek bushland. Tree canopy priorities at present are paramount, as advertised recently by Council.
The removal of 13 trees is excessive. I appeal to Council to minimise the number of trees removed by permitting removal only of those essential once development plans are approved.

13 trees to be removed?! This is simply shocking. Very disappointing. How does the council aim to reduce the urban heat effect if it keeps approving such things?

I agree entirely with David Grover. Surely council must reject this application without some further explanation as to why some trees can't be left.
