I am the Secretary of the Body Corporate of Bella Rosa by the Sea located at 32-34 First Avenue Broadbeach and on behalf of the other owners wish to object to the approval of this application and also to the other 40 story proposed development immediately on the other side of us at 30 First Avenue.
With both of these developments occurring we will be left with our 3 level walk up sandwiched between two 30 plus level towers. This will cause us significant amenity issues immediately due to noise, building construction, access and traffic problems with construction likely to be occurring simultaneously. Even if staggered, we will likely suffer nuisance for 3-4 years.
Consultation with local real estate agents also speculate that the value of our homes here will be greatly reduced and this is completed unacceptable.
We are also more concerned about the potential structural damage to our building due to the digging and construction occurring on both of our immediate boundaries.
We need someone to urgently advise us as to how these legitimate concerns are to be addressed.

how this area is being destroyed for greed.
