Both 93 & 95 Hull Rd are to be subdivided in to six lot developments, this is ridiculous!! Hull Rd is an extremely busy road as it is let alone adding further to this! Subdivision lots like this never allow for enough parking which then spills out onto the main Rd, this would be extremely dangerous being on Hull Rd with the significant amount of traffic. We keep loosing great family size blocks for developers to come though and just make money, we need to preserve the housing land as it is and not overcrowd and further congest and overload the infrastructure.

Why is this development under assessment when it is passed frame stage with an application date with MCC of 2/6/2022 and construction was started last year?
Maroondah City Council in its 15/12/20 submission to VPA on this matter draws attention to safety and congestion issues on Hull Rd and at 3 specific choke points along this route leading onto Eastlink.

I can't believe that MCC will approve this application given given its objection to the inappropriate subsequent VPA approval of the Kinley development and INFILL DEVELOPMENT represented by this application.
Surely given MCC views on this matter, a roundabout is needed at Kurrajong Ave onto Hull Rd to give reasonable access to a lot of residents. Instead this development will have 12+ cars entering from the other side of the intersection.
