I strongly urge that this permit is not granted. The site is along a Valley and the noise travels. I can clearly hear this project from my backyard (especially during site excavation) in Malvern East and do not wish to hear it after hours or on Sundays! It is in a residential area and the residents have a right to quite enjoyment of their homes especially after hours.

This site is extremely noisy and runs 6 days a week already in an otherwise quite residential area. Sunday is our only respite from the noise, dust, parking mayhem that is our lives 6 days a week for the past year. I strongly urge that the site not be allowed to operate on a Sunday, please do not grant this permit.

I am not supportive of an out of hours permit. Traffic management in Ashburn Grove has been a significant problem since the development started. Although some parking restrictions have been put in place, it has just pushed the parking issue up & down the street. There are long sections of the road that are effectively single lane because of bumper to bumper parked cars. It seems dangerous and leaves residents having to do large loops around other streets to get to their homes. It’s bad enough that we have to put up with it during peak times during the week. We should not have to put up with it out of hours and on weekends too. Also people working on that site seem to take up most of the parking at Markham Reserve. This will become very problematic when sport is played and people are enjoying the Reserve on the weekend.

I would like to also voice my concerns regarding this permit. The noise is already oppressive and the increase of traffic in the area has completely clogged the roads right up to Alamein street.

Please do not extend these hours. The contrast between development and the area prior is stark, we no longer use Markham Avenue, the ovals, or the playground for jogging or recreation as the noise, dust, and general inconvenience has made it intolerable.

I'm also just waiting to have an accident as the cars banked up along Markham Avenue make it impossible to see who's coming around the corner.

I object to the extension of permit hours. The impact of construction is significant as it is and it’s unreasonable to have a greater impact by extending hours on weekends and after hours.

The hours already permitted balance construction needs, residents’ rights and the expectations of users of the adjacent park, and should not be extended further.
