Why????? Unless they are causing some problems with foundations etc. Please leave them alone. The way things are going in this area - there will be no canopy for our beautiful wildlife.

The loss of mature trees should be considered carefully be the council as the loss of such trees is changing our urban environment. There will no longer be a place for our amazing backyard wildlife.
Horrific Parramatta Council that you are still allowing applications for healthy mature trees to be cut down. Day after day these applications are still being applied for to Parramatta Council and it has to stop
A “recent directive “ from the Commonwealth Government has stated that these trees have to be preserved for shade and natural habitat of our precious bird and animal life here in Australia /Sydney.
We have become a very “ hot state” with urban development allowing these applications to go through and our streets have no shade.
In a word “ shocking”.
