Six trees is a substantial quantity of trees to be lost from the one location. In looking at the map here, it does appear that they may have been planted too close to the house initially. If their proximity is a problem for light and leaf matter, then the best outcome will be to replant another 6 trees further away from the house roof line, along the rear boundary and other side boundary, to replace the biomass and habitat that will be removed.
If Council does not request replacment on the same land, then Croycon Conservation Society will object to the removal.
