A Developer is applying to remove the Covenant on the title for 7-8 Oakwood Ridge being:
"Convenant prohibits the further subdivsion of lot 1-21 unless approved by the responsible authority"
The responsible authority is Geelong City Council.
Please refer for an article ran by the Geelong Advertiser in 2019 concerning the property.
We need 6 Objectors for a meeting to be held with Councillors.

I would like to note an objection to granting this planning permit for 7-8 Oakwood Ridge, St Albans Park.
Granting of the permit would change the area with it known and being part of the area with large allotments that is a draw card for the area.
There's not many other areas in this close proximity to Geelong Central that you can enjoy a larger block and the lifestyle it provides.

I'd like to further mention that the same property also holds heritage and or historical significance in the development of "St Albans Park" with the tree that burial remains lay under which are the reason for the naming of the suburb and are extremely important to the history of the area to do with "Pharlap" the horse and the "Carbines" who I believe are the original settlers of the area.

It would be a real shame to loose this history and have this part of St Albans Park with the big blocks it's known for becoming like most other suburbs with people living on top of each other.

Please don't let this happen! So much important history in this area that will be destroyed. Please stop building up our quiet suburbs especially St Albans Park. This a beautiful semi rural part of our city and it would be a tragedy to lose the amazing history in this area. Please don't let this happen

Please let it be known that I object to the covenant being lifted due to historical and environmental concerns, aswell as the current community reaping benefits from such a large tree with shade to their homes

    Thank you

Please do not let this happen so many amazing memories and horses have been a part of St Albans already so much has been lost and once gone it can never be undone, just a small price for such a wonderful part of history that we should all cherish.
Please stop development and create something amazing! Not just housing very sad already most has been lost

I would like to object to this Development Application on the grounds of historical reasons.
