This application summary is too vague to enable informed comment. Besides not identifying the type of tree, nor is its size nor the boundary (west or east) mentioned. Nor the reason for the request for its removal.
I note that there is a large eucalypt near the eastern side boundary of the property. This tree has a dead limb near its top. If the request relates to this tree and the dead limb is the reason for the request it would seem that that alone (the limb) could be removed. From the road the tree appears otherwise healthy.
I note that WCC is loathe to see the removal of trees that contribute to our green canopy and help keep the suburbs cool in a warming climate.
