My main concern is that no consideration has been given to the loss of privacy and sunlight to the residents (during Autumn/Winter) who live in the 3 Units on the south side of the development in the Mayflower Retirement Village.
Secondly, that more than adequate consideration has been given to the drainage proposal on the west side of the property which could cause alteration to the water table. This could result in possible flooding affecting the Mayflower residences immediately below boundary line.
I hope that the existing Banksia tree which straddles the southern boundary with Uniting property is being preserved as I believe it is a protected species. 11 year long observation has confirmed it is a year long habitat for many species of native birds.
