Why does this need to be approved when there is already a substantial building on this parcel? Taylors Lakes primarily is designated as single occupancy only, what purpose is there for this application?

Hi! I believe Council should be approving dual Occupancy due to it is hard to get a block of Land in Taylor’s Lakes . Nowadays New Suburban Area are no longer restricted or have no more covenants due you can now build a townhouse with a lot of 250 m2 . I have 840 m2 . My house was built on 28 square meter and it only occupied 400m2. The 440 m2 is a waste of space why unable to build another house if It’s possible . I don’t have issue on approving this . Council should have the compassion of understanding that the owner should be given the rights to do it if it’s possible to build another property.
