1. I live in 1 William Street Redfern only a few metres from the rear of 207 Cleveland Street and 203 Cleveland Street which is also owned by the Australian Village Management Pty Ltd.
2. William Street Redfern is totally residential. The courtyard of 207 Cleveland Street backs on James Street which is right next to my house and bedrooms.
3. When the DA for construction of 203 Cleveland Street was granted it was under the proviso that there were would be no noise from 203 and 207 Cleveland Street and this was clearly stated by Council ( contact Matthew Girvan, Specialist Planner, Planning Assessments). The conditions also included an onsite Manager. I was given the numbers of the Night Manager, Area Manager and General Manager and unfortunately I have had to call on a number of occasions. The main issues have been with 207 Cleveland St as there is a big open courtyard at the back and we get a lot of noise when the backpackers are drinking.
