Here we go again in this most populated area. What does a reduction in car parking mean? Does it mean no car parking for some dwellings? Does it mean no visitor parking? I would object to any reduction in parking just so an extra dwelling or two can be built on the land.

I have a concern with this development, reduced parking on a block facing a solid white line as visibility is poor approaching a bend. Removal of vegetation, but a study has been undertaken that our suburbs are heating up due to the carving up of blocks and the canopy of trees disappearing
The variation of parking requirements will only add to the over parking already in our streets. Factually people have cars, adults have cars, we do not have a public transport system which provides an adequate alternative.
So while supposedly ticking the sustainability box it in fact does not.
And please check the traffic reports- the ones done for our neighbourhood were so far off it was laughable yet decisions are made based on these reports. We had a non existent bus route listed as being local public transport !
