This is the same tree Mc Donald's tried to remove to build a store here before and was refused but now trying again under a different applicant to get through council.

I hate to say that Holdfast council are just money hungry. I often wonder who they represent?? They don’t care what the people in their council want. I’ve given up.
They don’t listen. I’m going to be heard with my vote.

It's more than a tree. It provides shade and supports bird life, we need more of these native trees not less. The area has really low tree canopy cover. If this tree goes it sets a precedent and we can wave good bye to the rest along Brighton road and surrounds.
