The council needs to take a stronger stance on tree removal, particularly native trees. All of these trees are so important to the bird, bat and insect population. We can't keep removing trees because they are inconvenient for owners, soon we will have no trees, birds, bats in Bondi, which us sad. Instead we will have a concrete jungle.

I object to the removal of this native tree. This tree provides habitat and shade for the street, cooling the climate in summer.

Bondi is turning into a concrete nightmare which is impacting property prices, particularly as you move closer to the junction. People don’t want to live like that. Council needs to act swiftly to retain the flora and fauna that makes this postcode a good place to live.

I object to the removal of this tree. Native trees should only be removed as a last resort, if there is absolutely no other option. It's possible to make holes for trees and tree roots in fences, or to move or better protect pipes. The habitat provided by a mature tree is irreplaceable: it takes decades to grow a tree and our birds will be gone by then if the attacks on trees in the Bondi area continue. Home owe=ners should be informed that research shows trees add tens of thousands of dollars of value to a property. There is a reason for that: people like calm, beautiful environments and the shade that trees provide.

I hope that all steps are taken to retain this tree before removal is allowed. It is critical habitat for wildlife and the small critters that are food for birds. If removal is essential I hope that emplacement becomes the norm barring in mind that NOTHING can replace mature tree

I totally agree with Mia’s comment.. It is tragic that Bondi is destroying all the natural habitat for birds and animals . I object to this application for tree removal

I object the removal of 1 Eucalypt tree.
There is no explanation given, no plans provided to plant 1 new replacement tree.
