It is not clear why the tree is to be removed.
It is concerning to see so many applications to remove trees without a clear explanation. The only acceptable reason would be for the tree being sick and unable to recover after being treated in the first place.
The position of this tree near the Lane Cove River is also extremely important for wildlife as it serves as a corridor.
