Dear Melbourne City Council,
We cannot have a reduction in parking spaces in this neighbourhood anymore, i.e. West Melbourne. The streets are always full of parked cars, even in stage 4 lockdown. Local residents and visitors struggle with the already existing insufficient parking spots. With Festival hall and North Melbourne stations, there is already significant pressure on the parking availability. Add to that all the construction occurring concurrently in every single street, which further takes away parking spots. We cannot have offices add further burden to this scarce asset on our local streets.
I urge you not to approve the reduction in parking spaces not only in this application but for all future applications in the Adderley precinct of West Melbourne.
Kind Regards
132-134 Adderley Street West Melbourne 3003
