We're just next to and looking on to this site and it's going to block the view and decrease the house value. So NO to this plan!

We need more housing and Summer Hill is an ideal place to put it. Close to three different kinds of public transport, good shops and other amenities.

I oppose this development. Please don’t remove further facilities in the Summer Hill area for more apartment blocks with shops beneath that don’t get rented out. We need space for workshops and light industry close to public transport and other facilities. This suburb has always had a mix of light industry and residential. It gives the suburb it’s history and character as well as convenience for residents.
This is also a low profile section of the streetscape. A large apartment block on this section of the street will also ruin the historic character of this group of shops and mixed businesses.

Looking forward to the development and the increase in shops along the street thanks to this proposal.

Please limit the height of this development accordingly so that it’s in line with the area. Also the design should be in keeping with the beautiful facades of the nearby shops and be focused on light industry as others have stated.

I oppose to this development. It has been put to DA for approval and there was overwhelming response from the community on the impact to (1) traffic, (2) appropriate FSR, (3) vibe of the neighbourhood and (4) removal of facilities in the neighbourhood. The developers have done very little to reduce the number of units or improve FSR. This should not be approved in its current form.

There is no need for further development in Summer Hill. There is already the concrete ghetto Flour Mill and the development behind the old ambulance station. The roads are congested enough as it is. The history of the suburb and village atmosphere is being wiped out by developers and over population. Build better transport links to other areas and stop wrecking the inner west. Retaining the facade is the latest ploy by developers to win the aesthetics argument. I oppose this development.

I oppose the development in its current form as it is not in character with the surrounding area based on the height and design of the proposed development.
The height of the development is significantly above relative nearby buildings brining it out of character in the area.
All residents should review and be aware of the plans and make an informed submission from the council website.
