I have noted that a number of requests for tree removal are arriving on Council's planning site without plans or any permit documentation - which I understand is required under the Tree Vegetation Policy. If this application refers to trees could we please see the type of tree to be removed and the reasons provided. This location is next to the reserve and the tree canopy in this area is used by local wildlife to move safely across neighbouring yards. I would not like to see the canopy destroyed unnecessarily and this would also go against WCC policy. If there is evidence that the trees in question are diseased or a danger then that information of course should be considered.
What is removal of T1?
And if this relates to a tree what are the reasons for removing this tree?
Canopy and trees in the area are needed as they provide shelter to wildlife and are a protected species. Also it seems close to a reserve so it would be highly used by the wildlife as result.
