Five is too many and car parking requirements should not be waived as they are already quite weak. Where will excess cars park? On the street or in the council car parks down the road? Council will need to limit car parking I Summerhill Road to one hour near this building.

1. Car parking should not be reduced. Where are the car washing bays? If 3 bdrm townhouses then 3 car parking spaces should be allocated.
2. Five townhouses on this block is over-crowding placing enormous strain on services.
3. Where are the ‘single level’ for age-appropriate resident? Diversification in community living, young families, singles & the mature, a mixture of dwellings on one block. Shouldn’t council be allocating a mix of single level units per ‘two storey townhouses’.
Boroondara is allowing too many townhouses to be squeezed onto these blocks with no backyards.
