How can a commercial business be approved in the middle of a residential area?
There are no commercial businesses from Queens Rd to Lyons Rd, only houses so it is not the right area for a childcare centre to be built.
The traffic and viewing to turn out of Watts St into Bayview Rd is dangerous enough given the cars and boats parked on the road around that corner, let alone an extra 50+ cars every morning & afternoon for drop off/pick up. The extra traffic would be dangerous and unnecessary. There are 3 other childcare centres within close proximity in non residential areas.

I am unsure how long L. Palmer has lived in the area, but I am 65yrs old and was born in that street, hence I can speak with some knowledge. There has been 2 businesses one was around the corner from this address. It was a boat builder which also built other timber products. The last time I drove past the building was still there. The other business was a funeral home in Bayview Rd, complete with morgue. So yes there has been businesses in the area,
