I object to this development height of 16.3m despite this height being at the back of the building. The council’s height regulations are very clear and they need to be adhered to. I see no reason why it cannot be a 4 storey building as is being proposed for 35-37 Hall Street.

I object to this development. It is not in the public interest for accommodation to be created without any private car park facilities.
In addition the height allowance is exceeded which should be avoided at all costs.
As outlined in the DA submission, they are already using another buildings DA as justification of its non-compliance with height restrictions. This clearly highlights that by allowing buildings to exceed height restrictions, others will follow suit.
The height limits in Waverley must be adhered to for all our sakes: for privacy reasons, for sharing the sunlight, our amenity and for keeping our mental health. There is no reason a developer should be allowed to contravene our existing laws. Hall St runs the risk of attack from determined developers out to make a quick buck. Say no to 5 storeys.
I object to this development. 4 storeys is the maximum! No DA should exceed height restrictions.
Also this kind of development should include private parking.
I object to this development. Height restrictions are there for good reason and should not be just waived. Any precedents that exist are undesirable and should not be used as grounds for further noncompliance.
The lack of parking provided here is another reason to refuse this application.
Regardless of the fact that the building in question is located on the rear of Hall Street, I object to the proposed development height of 16.3 metres. Council rules that mandate that buildings can be no higher than four stories must be followed. It must comply with the neighbouring buildings and be harmonious with the surrounding area.
Dear Waverley Council as a local resident and apartment owner on Hall street, i object to this development’s application to go beyond the 4 storey limit as set by the council rules. Every time an exception is granted it sets precedence for every new development to go to that “new” height. The developers are trying to maximise their financial again through the addition or another level with no benefit to the community or the street. I really hope you adhere to the current height restrictions and reject their request for the additional level.

I object to this DA as it clearly violates Council height restrictions. It must be rejected.
