Is there a good reason to take any more trees out? Unless diseased, leave them alone. Are replacements being put in?
The removal of the trees does not respond to the requirements of the Significant Landscape Overlay.
The Removal of the trees will adversely impact the streetscape and the preferred neighbourhood character of the area.
The removal of the trees will make the surrounding structures in respect of lack of meaningful landscaping, setbacks, height and massing contribute to dominating the surrounds.
The removal of the trees does not respond positively to the heritage values of the neighbourhood.
Without the trees the structures will dominate the surrounds and fail to respond positively to the surrounding context.
In the event the Responsible Authority approved the trees removal, it is requested that a consent condition be imposed that each tree removed must be replaced with two canopy trees of the indigenous vegetation class, with any future paved area to not be within less than 300mm radius of their trunk at all times, and when planted to be installed with minimum pot size of 300mm and at a height of 1.2 metres and replaced if they ever are to die.
