Pallara is the last council-approved masterplan in Brisbane - means booming residential area. It should have its own shopping center for future proof (not even future, it's already a need for current residents). As far as we know, the owner (Queensland Investment Corporation - state owned) of Forestlake shopping center do not want the new shopping center built near it - actually it was 7km+ away from Pallara. So it's a conflict to their interest everyone knows. However, it was a sacrifice for thousands of current and future residents if no shopping center and lack of infrustructure, shops, childcare, bustops, etc.

Pallara has hundreds of new homes being built now and there are no bus stop, not enought green space, and the road is lack of service as well. It will be a very good surburb for large population in the future only if local shops and road service are to be approved.

My name is Don Farley.
My family and I have just moved into our house at16 Whistler Place, Pallara.
We purchased the land through Stocklands and built a new home in 2019.
A major factor in choosing the estate was the knowledge of a future showing complex on Gooderham Road / Pallara Ave intersection.
We now see Bluepoint Property bunting at the location and look forward even more to this development.
We 100% support this necessary complex and trust our city Council will move on with this approval.
