I strenuously object to the proposed development lodged for the premises at 40-76 William St, Leichhardt. The redevelopment of the existing buildings and additional storeys added are completely out of character with the existing neighbourhood.
This area is already congested with traffic and the addition of many more residential apartments - some without parking - will make this problem inestimably worse.
In addition, the height of the proposed structure is outrageous. Privacy of the surrounding residences will be totally compromised.
