Is this correct that an application is for a carport at front of property, meaning in front of the dwelling? We have been told by Council (repeatedly) that carports etc must be one metre behind the front of dwelling. Does this mean there is consideration given towards anyone making an application for a carport even slightly in front of the dwelling?
