What is communal living?
Is this back packer accommodation?
Though I totally support the “concept” of providing a safe, secure environment for vulnerable women, you don’t just remove 10 homeless women off the streets, place them in a studio apartment and walk away, leaving them unsupported and unsupervised. Past experience has shown that some of these people are often traumatised, abused and damaged and require assistance to adjust, both mentally and physically to change. This is a very BIG change for them.
Just how much support will they be given?
How often will a trained professional check on these women?
What’s the selection criteria for these women?
Will anyone check that other people aren’t staying there illegally?
