These taller towers are an eyesore in the suburbs. These should be limited to 5 levels to avoid over shadowing, privacy issues for surrounding residents and congestion. The fact reduced parking is being sought is also crazy. There should be at least 2 car parks per dwelling plus allowance for visitors. Please don’t let another high risk eyesore for the skyline in this area.

The permit application should not be granted for the reduction of car parking for this proposed residential development.
Each apartment should have at least two parks allocated together with ample visitor parking, otherwise the surrounding streets will be clogged up and also parking for shoppers will be taken by overflow from this development.
I object the proposed development. The reasons of my objection as follows,
1. An 11-storey building comprising thirty-seven (37) dwellings on a land size of 568m2 is extremely over developed, especially in the Kew Junction, one of the busiest traffic spot in the local areas. A
2. Dwellings cars driving-in and out the site will be much more often than the current traffic and it may cause serious safety concerns to the local pedestrians and school students. Myself walk my dog passing the site along Studley Park Rd on a daily base and the proposed development increase the risk rapidly that I may be hit by a car when I am walking passing the site.
3. Rubbish collection may be issues for a building site of 568m2 with 37 dwellings. It is likely to be that a private waste management company will be appointed for the site and the garbage trucks will come much often the city council garbage collection, hence, the noise caused those garbage trucks maybe one of the environmental issues for the local neighbourhood area.
4. The proposed development with 11 levels will cause shadow and view blocking to its next door neighbours, especially the South-side neighbour may loss the access to sunlight for the entire year.
