In a word, no. I am stunned by the parameters of the design competition, all of which involve massive high rise towers. Why was this even accepted as the basis for the design? When was this decided and by whom? Is the vision for this precinct to look like the high rise of the cbd with its wind tunnels and streets that never get any sun? As the hideous student accommodation building which now looms over Redfern station proves, development of inappropriate scale to the surrounding area sets a dangerous precedent for ruining an entire district. Atlassian may wish to create an IT hub of the future, but not at the detriment to the liveability of the area which massive high rise buildings like this will not enhance. Gross overdevelopment in my opinion and I have lived in the area for over 30 years.

You can't possibly be serious.

The image for this development looks amazing. I have always looked forward to Sydney having more abstract architecture and this building will definitely add to that. I like what Atlassian have proposed.
