This is out of character for the neighbourhood particularly a back street of camberwell

I do hope this proposal never succeeds. It is completely out of character with the street, and with 16 dwellings I despair with the car parking problems.

Firstly, this development appears to be against the new planning laws, which restrict buildings higher than 2 storeys in NRZ1. So this proposal should not be approved in its current form.

Please restrict townhouse/unit/villas to no more than 2 on any block if they are double storied and the block is less that 700 sqm.

I also cannot imagine how permission was given to the 4 huge McMansion monstrosities that have sprung up on 9 Allambee Ave, Camberwell. Very unlikely you can maintain any social distancing when they stand in their balconies - they appear to be that close to each other!

    Stop, please. Enough is enough.

I drive down this street often. Cars are parked on either side do with the new development it is already difficult to drive down. I strongly object to the number of units and THE LACK OF SUFFICIENT CAR PARKING. However the developers have followed the guidelines - Mr Richard Wynne MP should address boroondara’s overdevelopment - why hasn’t he?

Council should reject this monstrosity at the first chance. 3 stories is unacceptable in a quiet residential street, where all other houses are 1-2 stories. 16 units is too many for such a small lot.
