New road for what purpose?

To bring in more residential to create more traffic congestion?

The roads are really taking a toll at the moment and it’s only going to get Worse... MUCH worse!

Please take into consideration the infrastructure before just approving everything and anything for the sake of it and revenue

James is on the money (or should I say "revenue")
Hills Shire Council use to have a go-slow on development until state supplied infrastructure was sorted.
That's why it was a good place to live and bring up a family.
What happened?
Governments pushing GROWTH as the fix for everything. More working people to be stuffed onto smaller house/land packages at highly "GROWTHED" prices to make the rich richer and the goverment cops 10%. Squashed onto roads, trains, busses and into ever increasing dept. (average wage : housing loan ratio)
More health problems - you need to pay for health cover now
Climate change is due to Growth and Population, and bad, non-sustainable decisions by government and business, biased by financial returns at many levels.
No-one wants to topple the teetering GROWTH balancing act, but sooner or later more people will realise how we could have found a happy sustainable balance of life and work.
