I strongly against the development plan for 2236 Beaudesert Road (A005669044). I would not buy the property if I knew there would be a plan like this for my next door. The property market value will be affected heavily in this area if the plan is approved.

This such a high density dwelling plan will increase the local traffic volume and noise level dramaticlly. Can you imagine if there are similar development dwelling plans for number 2222 and 2204 Beaudesert Road later on. How can the road which we are having now to handle such a big traffic.

We already have issues with traffic in the intersection between Compton Road and Chateau Street. It quite often we have to wait one more traffic to get through. The traffic will clog the street if the plan will be approved.

The dwelling density should be reduced. This question was discussed in the community meeting with the local councillor a few years ago in Calamvale Hotel.

City planners have gone berserk. We will have shortages of all necessities like water pressure, electricity power (disruptions), gas flow decrease. We may also face sewerage blockages and obstruction rainwater flow. With haphazard use of nearby streets by Stretton School students and parents it’s not safe school children who walk.

Access to and from Calamvale, especially the area north of Kameruka Street (bordered by Gowan Rd, Compton Rd, Beaudesert Rd and Kameruka St) is a nightmare and set to become gridlocked. Do the planners who are responsible for these decisions actually visit the site or as I suspect a lot of planning is via the computer screen and overlays.
The area with existing facilities cannot keep growing . Three cars being able to exit Chateau St onto Compton Rd is a joke. In all my 24years living in Calamvale I am yet to see a traffic monitor at this intersection. Get out of your offices and come out and watch.
Recently we have been having large trucks with covers over rear trailers travelling up and down Monsour St???? A very narrow street with traffic slowing in place as does Chateau St. NO to more high density development. Thank you.

Once upon a time there was a rule that long vehicles were not allowed between 4am and 9pm on arterial roads.
