    Thank you,
These blocks have been cleared for various reasons over the past 15 years.
We are unable to see the benefits to allow the build of a property on these premises based on the current issues faced by Wamberal Beach dunes and the impact on the surrounding community. This location is part of the most narrow part of the Sand Dune, and would require for the dune to be further disrupted to enable to structure to be built.
As seen with many of the currently affected properties, the overcapitalization of these lands has been slowing impacting the surrounding environment for a number of years.

We have now experienced a catastrophic event in 2020 which the current land / home owners are unable to protect their properties from. The council should not be considering new developments until such time as a solution is met that keeps the needs of the community and longevity of the surrounding environment have been decided upon.

    Thank you

The proposed constructions of swimming pools on 85 - 89 Ocean View Dr, Wamberal, appears irresponsible given the amount of dangerous debris that could be washed into the ocean if another catastrophic event occurs. The amount of debris washed into Wamberal Beach and Wamberal Lagoon from the 2020 storms was extremely dangerous to the community using the beaches on a daily basis. We should not so quickly forget the power of mother nature when man made structures are built on land that wasn't intended for such use.

The continued development on these beachfront properties is significantly impacting the surrounding environment. There is little need for construction of a pool, that has the potential for such negative impacts to the environment, when you live right on the oceanfront. New developments should be put on hold until a suitable solution can be identified, a solution that meets and supports the needs of the wider community and protects our environment from further damage.

Do not allow this or any other development on the dunes, real anecdotal evidence of recent pasts will be repeated.
Besides, the beach and dunes belong to all not just the beach residents.

Please do not allow this development to proceed.
It is simply ridiculous to continue to allow building on the dunes that nature never intended to happen.
Look at north Wamberal beach, no development and the dunes are still in tact allowing nature to do its thing without damage or interference from man.

If this development is allowed to proceed the obvious will happen; i.e. the land on each side of the proposed development will suffer more than nature intended as the storm surfs will go around the blockage, not to mention how ugly the development will look.
