The word 'protected' has been put in place to protect these trees. If these 13 trees are removed then they have not been protected by the council or the community, and the word protected means 'nothing'.

Box Hill needs trees and greenery, not continued concrete and high buildings.

I strongly object to the removal of 13 trees.

What does protected trees mean if they are to be removed? Box Hill is becoming a city of concrete and high rises. It needs those trees. I strongly object to tree removal. 'Protected'? I just don't understand.
