I am the owner of the attached semi whose privacy will be hugely affected by the application of my immediate neighbour. I invite those responsible for authorising this development application to visit my house #29 Imperial Ave and view for themselves the potential impact of this development which will affect my family in the immediate future and the generations that will live in both #31 and #29 within a decade. To my mind, if the development is approved, Bondi will be returned to the sad and dilapidated days of the 1960s. What was the point of the heritage planning for this little group of six semis? Who is responsible for controlling the 'green corridor' for the western edge of these 'Arts and Crafts' properties, much of which has been chopped down by the owners of 7-11 Henderson street within twelve months of 'sign off' of the final development?

I fully support any local who is threatened by an unsuitable development - as should our local Council. I understand that local Council has lost a lot of its power in these situations but they should be attempting to regain it from the NSW govt. for the sake of the ordinary people whose very lives are at stake.
I agree with Jude Allen, the same mindless approvals where privacy is being invaded, is happening in my street, Glasgow Ave, Bondi Beach, the original estate development nearly 100 years ago, on the sand hills/brick works.
Totally invasive extensions approved and extensions totally out of keeping with what must be heritage considered.
And only getting worse with the ridiculous new State laws allowing certifiers to approve developments, and not the Council responsible.
