My property at 6 St. Crispin Street borders this development. I strongly oppose it. The land is long and narrow and overall less than 1200m2, yet the developers propose 4 residences? My house is on a small 560m2 lot, yet somehow in the same amount of space or less, two dwellings are to be built? That is really taking advantage to make a tidy profit. The dwellings, which are two storey to my one-storey house, are to be 1 metre or 1.5 metres from my back fence. This is not acceptable, despite the developer referring to vegetation and lack of windows on that side. Perhaps there are no windows, but there are large, second floor balconies overlooking our dwellings. This is an area of high quality homes. Putting four dwellings in an area that at most can take two dwellings is outrageous and demonstrates nothing but the greed of the developers. As an affected resident, I appeal to council to NOT APPROVE the proposal.
