I have significant reservations about this project for the following reasons:
- Maguires Road is one lane either way, narrow, winding, poorly marked and frequently pot-holed. It would not withstand the proposed additional traffic and would make pedestrian And equestrian activities considerably less safe
- Both Maguires Road and it’s tributary roads are susceptible to flooding and could put people with children in a position where they cannot get to day care to drop off or pick up. This would be particularly stressful for those parents that need to work
- This area is very susceptible to blackout and the additional electricity burden to support a large day care centre is likely only going to exacerbate this issue
- Many of the properties on this road are still 5 acre blocks and have embraced hobby farm life. A development like this bringing in so many extra people does not support this ethos
- There is a significant lack of other support amenities in this area (cafes, parks, petrol stations), making this choice an odd one when there are surely better positions

I hope you take these concerns into consideration because I feel they are both valid and not easily remedied.

I have concerns about the size of this development in a semi-rural area. Maraylya Public School has just over 100 students in total - why would a daycare centre for 200 children be required in such a location?
