I grew up in this house.My father bought this house during the war for around
sixteen thousand pounds from Mrs Cudmore who lived upstairs-very few people
wanted to live near the naval base at Watsons Bay at that time. We moved upstairs
when we bought it. Mrs Cudmore was very smart and bought a right of way up to
New South Head Rd-caught the tram there for school instead of walking along
Belah Gardens and then up the hill.My father sold it quite a few years ago.
What memories-cannot imagine demolishing that lovely BRICK building-who
would want to do that?.
