Why is there a Child Care Centre being proposed in the midst of a residential area? There is a school two doors down where this centre should be. Do not support this submission . Rochedale South needs to be preserved as a residential area.

Traffic is already a problem in this area, and to allow a new Child Care Centre will surely exacerbate the problem. Should Council approve this development we will also have a situation where we have a commercial car park, adjacent to a residential dwelling, which is then adjacent a Child Care Centre. This will reduce the value of dwellings in this beautiful residential area as the streetscape will never be the same.
What gives big business the right to try for another childcare centre to be placed between 2 residential dwellings. The problems are the same ones we are facing at number 36. Too big a facility with too much traffic for our street. We also have excess traffic with regards to the YMCA school care as well. Find an estate in progress that actually needs this service and leave our street as it is.
