Residential Street not for Business
Already congested due to North Essendon School.
Residents visitors cannot park on the street.
Over development at the end of O'Shannassy Street even more congestion.
Noise from Centre and there are already vacancies in childcare centres in the area.
l did not buy to have the street to be turned from a residential street to a business area. put it on Keilor plenty of empty spaces. O'Shannassy Street is a friendly street and RESIDENTIAL ONLY.

We live on Oshannassy st. As it is the are too busy during morning and afternoon.
My kids walks to Essendon north Primary and Buckley park. We feel its unsafe for our kids and also all other school kids to cross the road due to excessive drivers usage around these time.
There are currently not enough parkings for local residents as these parking are oftern taken by city workers, the commercial buildings(e.g Kumom) , the flats, apartments and units , plus Essendon north Primary, bowls clubs, kinder garden etc.
We bought in the area due to the residential feel. Now with the development of the multi-level apartments on Keilor Rd and this proposed child care centre, it is turning into a commercial area.
Currently there are Guardian Childcare, Papilio Early Learning Essendon & Essendon Kids, all are within 2km radius and not operating to the full capacity. do we really need another child care?? . Also the increase trend of the of people working home therefore the demand for child care in future will be reduced??
