We strongly OBJECT. Childcare for 81 kids would mean staff parking for maybe 15-20 people. You would then have a minimum 150+ vehicle movements per day, generally early mornings and late afternoons; which will increase traffic congestions on Carter, Abigail, Carrington Streets and Best Road, Sixth & Eight Avenue. Parking over flow onto the streets and neighbouring homes where staff and customers will be parking at the front of neighbouring homes.

The area is a predominantly residential area with residential dwellings mostly Detached homes. We don’t feel this commercial business is well located and will NOT fit in the character of the area(out of character for the area).

This proposed Child Care centre will conflict with the amenities of the local area due to its setting, building bulk and scale, the scale of the proposed use and the lack of transition which was provided to surrounding development. The proposed hours of operation and traffic arrangements would give rise to unacceptable amenity impacts.

There are also 17+ other childcare centres within 1-3km radius, thus over supply and not economically viable.

Noise and light pollution will increase throughout the day and will affect quality of life and well being.

There is no strong & pressing need for this commercial development(81 Bay Childcare centre) at 11 Abigail Street Seven Hills.

I oppose this application for a busy childcare centre on a very narrow street, it is already a problem as there are parked cars both sides and very narrow to get through, one way at a time only, the extra traffic for childcare centre would mean danger to drivers and pedestrians attempting to get through or cross the road. The location of this child care centre does not suit the street's character at all which is all residential detached mainly single storey dwellings and not near any other commercial ventures, this street has not been built or designed to cater for such a business enterprise.

I am currently wheelchair bound and I strongly object to the size and scale of such a large centre as it out of character for the street and will make a relatively quiet residential street unnecessarily busier. An 81 place centre is too large and out of scale for the area. 81 kids plus staff will involve atleast 200 car movements per day at peak times. This size childcare is not compatible with the existing streetscape and existing neighbourhood.
There are no commercial properties within or near the street. A childcare with a much reduced number and foot print will be more compatible to the street.

I live on the nearest cross stand strongly oppose such a large childcare. A childcare for 81 kids is totally out of context and street profile. It is not a commercial street and although the street is zoned for childcare careful consideration should be given to its size. 81 places is way too large and a much smaller childcare of about 50 kids would be more in-keeping with the context and feel of the street. I don't want to complain for the sake of complaining but this proposal is simply to big in size, scale and just does not comply with the prevailing neighbourhood
