We bought this house in February 2020 as it's a nice housing area and quiet neighbourhood. I cant imagine the noise and pollution from the construction. The apartment will overshadow our house and we won't get light from sun. Please reconsider this development.

If developments such as these are going to sail through approval due to back-handers/“donations” and Liberal government “requests”, then improvements need to be made to basic infrastructure such as public transport, schools and hospitals. Wolli Creek is already ridiculously over populated for surrounding public services. Rockdale also will be soon given the developments on the princess highway corridor.

Also if it is adversely affecting the value of neighboring properties, then adequate compensation should be provided to those homeowners.

This quiet residential group of 3 streets cannot cope with any more building.

Commercial vehicles for the current building site on Kyle St use the street as a race track and use up all the parking. The new buildings created (cnr Kyle and Princes Hwy) never have enough spaces so the new residents park on our streets.

Children can no longer play in this quiet street. The mothers and the elderly are reluctant to go out as the builders and new apartment dwellers fill all the parking. Women and elderly cannot go out at night a it is an unlit walk to the station, and the parking situation means that there is little chance to find a local parking spot, so again, a dark and unsafe walk home.

Please understand that the reckless building without parking and infrastructure has a huge impact on the mental health of the residents, especially those most vulnerable.
