    In reference to the following points in the statement of environmental effects:
    "3. Views and Vistas
    Does the proposal obscure or comprise important views?
    No. The sign if of a temporary nature and does not obscure views or vistas in
    the long term.
    Yes
    Does the proposal dominate the skyline and reduce the quality of vistas?
    No. As above.
    Yes"

    The site is not in the centre of the city where 1 metre signs on the skyline may be tolerated.

    The statements are an exercise in obfuscation as the question of the effects avoids the impact less than "the long term". Damage may be caused during the unknown time the sign is in use.

    There should be an assessment of the short-term impact on the neighbourhood and the skyline as this analysis. has been avoided..

    The sign could be there for years depending on the duration of the build and unforeseen delays.
