There is absolutely no reason for a tree removal in a VPO3 zone. That is why there is a protection zone to ‘protect’ the vegetation. I hereby object to any destruction within this special and protected zone. Now more than ever we need our environment to be protected NOT destroyed.

I totally agree with the comments of Titia. Why should it be saved? Because it is a TREE in BEAUMARIS. We have lost too many of our valuable trees to development!
One day people are going to wake up and realise the treed environment - for which they moved to the area - has been denuded. Only through objection can we make a difference and perhaps save some precious trees. WE NEED MORE - NOT LESS!

Titia and Arkie are spot on!
Beaumaris has a Tree Protection Overlay The VPO3, it is the highetst form of protection for Indigenous Trees. Why do Devlopers and Purchasers feel they even have the opportunity to apply for them to be removed. The Ti Tree on this site is iconic to Beaumaris and should be protected under the VPO3. There is plenty of room to build behind it anyway. Why purchase the property for a development if protected trees need to be removed? Clearly it is the wrong property for your needs.
WE NEED EVERY TREE WE CAN GET, NOT LESS!!!

I totally agree with the Titia, Arkie and Carolyn. The character of Beaumaris is damaged every time a developer clears native vegetation and builds some hideous rendered McMansion. Surely we can learn to live with the existing environment and build something that is in tune with the character of the area and embraces the native flora.

I object to the removal of native and indigenous vegetation on this site. Please start now to protect the Beaumaris character.
