May I ask why the trees are being removed. Is it to make the land more attractive to developers? Or for development? The rate of deforestation in Croydon is alarming and the rate of substandard housing even more so.

Without knowing the reason, or the species, it is difficult to understand why on this block, where the trees seem to be on the boundaries and therefore out of the impact zone on the house, why 3 trees need removal.
They also appear to be quite mature in height.

Croydon Conservation Society would like further information before lodging an objection.

I object to cutting down of 3 more mature trees. Until planning authority can provide the reason why these 3 trees are to be cut down, my objection will stand. Also, I would like Planning Authority to provide me with information on what type of trees they want to remove. My objection will not be removed until I receive a response from Planning authority.
The rate with which trees are being felled in this area is particularly distressing and most alarming.
I await your response.
