It would be a shame for the historical character of this area to have another character home demolished and replaced by a new build. Homes in Goodwood should be protected from demolition to preserve the collective value arising from what remains of the original housing stock. One after the other, with each demolition and new build the character of the area is being eroded. Unley council, we implore you to retain such properties and protect them now and in the future. Thank you.

I agree with Leah's comments. This is an area where 'contributory items' should be primary.

Unfortunately Council representation on the CAP has been diminished, so Council has less influence than in previous times.

The current Planning Code is, at the very least, unhelpful. It needs review, and more citizen input. It currently does not generate confidence in citizens that the character of such areas will be retained.

The dev plan is currently under review I believe, in relation to Goodwood it may be zoned historical to protect the character houses. But alas, the amendments will be too late for this house
